The following businesses and county offices will be closed Monday, Sept. 2 in observance of Labor Day:
The Rappahannock Health Department, the Rappahannock Library, the Rappahannock National Bank in Washington and the Farmers and Merchants Bank in Flint Hill.
Also the county offices and post offices.
Family Guidance Services of Rappahannock will also be closed. In case of an emergency, clinic staff may be reached by calling 675-3329. Rappahannock Social Services Department will be closed.
The Rappahannock News will also be closed.
Social news and club news or agency reports will be due by noon on Tuesday, Sept. 4 but it would be appreciated if non-dated material could be in the news office by 5 p.m. Friday, Au^. 30.
