Wednesday, Aug. 28 at the First Baptist Church in Front Royal by Dr. Mark Jordon. Burial was in Prospect Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Honts was bom March 11, 1901, in Rappahannock County, the daughter of the late Mark and Josephine Alberta Fishback Weaver. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, United Daughters of the Confederacy, Order of the Eastern Star Chapter 6 and Club 13. She was a former organist for the Front Royal United Methodist Church and a member of the First Baptist Church in Front Royal. She was the wife of the late Anderson Brugh Honts Sr.
Surviving are a daughter, Ellen Honts Price of Asheville, N.C.; two sisters, Bea Weaver Butler and Dicey Weaver Thornhill, both of Boston; five grandchildren; 11 greatgrandchildren; and a niece, Betty Butler Cahill of Winchester; and a nephew, Charles R. “Bobby” Butler of Punta Gorda, Fla., who were raised by the Honts. •

Russell Wayne Williams, 55, of Front Royal, died Sunday, Aug. 25 in Heritage Hall Health Care of Front Royal.
The funeral was conducted Wednesday, Aug. 28 at the TumerRobertshaw Funeral Home in Front Royal by the Rev. Jerry Young. Burial was in Prospect Hill Cemetery.
