The market value of all agricultural
products sold by the 266 farms in Rappahannock County in 1974 amounted to $3,473,000, according to a preliminary report of the 1974 Census of Agriculture released today by the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Bureau of the Census.
The Rappahannock County School Board and the school administration are urging the cooperation of parents, bus drivers and the traveling public to assure the safety of children on their way to and from school. Parents are requested to counsel with their children regarding conduct while waiting for buses and while passengers on the bus. Riding the school bus is a privilege and may be revoked for just cause by the principal of the school the child attends.
