Pamela Lynn, the Huntly Wakefield headmaster, said this week that plans are proceeding apace for the opening of Wakefield Country Day School as well. Registration will be Sept. 3 and the first day of classes Sept. 5. She hedged on giving an enrollment estimate, as did Dr. Clarke.
The number of students enrolling at the Huntly Wakefield, said Mrs. Lynn, was “encouraging.” Between five and seven kids apply each day, she said, including some who have never had any connection with Wakefield.
