Christmas bazaar
A Christmas bazaar sponsored by the Child Care and Learning Center will be held at the school from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 7. Special features will include pictures with Santa, bake sale, white elephant sale and crafts. All are welcome to attend.
Organ group to meet
The organ transplant group will meet at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 6 at the Culpeper Baptist Church conference room. For more information call Sheila or Lanny Horton, 703-825-4815.
Spaghetti dinner
A spaghetti dinner sponsored by the seventh grade will be held from 5 to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 12 at the Rappahannock Elementary School. Prices are $6 for all-you-can eat, $5 single serving or $4 for children under 10. Tickets may be purchased from any seventh grader or at the door. All proceeds will benefit the seventh grade annual class trip. Raffle tickets will also be available and grand prize will be dinner for two at The Inn. At 7:45 p.m. the school band and choir concert will be held in the auditorium. All are welcome.
Giveaway at fire hall
There will be a toys, clothes and household items giveaway, 1( a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 7 at the Washington fire hall. Snow date is Saturday, Dec. 14. The giveaway is sponsored by the Washington Fire Department Washington Baptist Church and the Virginia Skyline Girl Scout Coun til.

Culpeper Farmers’ Market annual Christmas bazaar will be helc from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 7 at the Floyd T. Binm School in Culpeper on Route 229. Over 40 crafters will offer holiday shoppers a wide selection of crafts, wreaths, holly and baked goods Raffle tickets will be on sale for a homemade Sunbonnet Sue quil (king/queen) to be given away Dec. 23.
