Friends, families and scouts of Rappahannock Cub Scout Pack 123 would like to express their thanks and appreciation to the following local merchants who supported the Turkey Shoot held at the Rappahannock Park on Saturday, Nov. 23 by donating turkeys. They are as fol‘lows:
Mr. and Mrs. Randolph Clater, Sperryville Corner Store; Mr. and Mrs. James Burke, W&J Grocery; Mr. and Mrs. Wilson Burke, Flint Hill Store and Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Foster, Hillsdale Grocery.
A big round of applause for their continued support.
Each boy made his own bow and arrows (tipped with cotton balls) and were judged and received first place awards in the following categories:
