Basketball at Rappahannock County High School is taking on a new look this year with a new coach, a new floor and new uniforms, plus some new ideas and equipment. Carter R. Ellis, who has coached at Page County High School and more recently been in the Richmond-area schools, is the varsity coach. Coach Ellis brings with him a vast amount of knowledge and experience blended with an unbelievable amount of enthusiasm
for basketball. After working with the local boys throughout the fall conditiong program and into the practice time for the season, Coach Ellis says that this will be a building year. However, it is expected that several games will be won by the Panthers.
