The Town of Washington begins its expanded recycling program at the new site next month, and all county residents are invited to drop off their reusable materials.
The town’s first-ever permanent recycling center will be located at the Washington Volunteer Fire Company headquarters on Warren Avenue. The site will be open to all county residents from 8 a. m.-noon Saturday, Jan. 4 and on every first Saturday of succeeding months.
