Fauquier’s annual Christmas In Music Concert will be presented at 8 p.m. Dec. 6, 7 and 8 at the Warrenton United Methodist Church.
Barbara Stinson is directing both the Warrenton and Youth Chorales, with Steve Aiello as assistant director. Joan Staiko is the organist while Anne Hall is accompanying the Youth Chorale on the piano. ' This year the Warrenton Chorale has 107 members with 38 in the Youth Chorale. There are 12 in both the Adult and Youth Handbell Choirs. Other instruments include flutes, violins and a percussion section.
The program will include selections from Handel’s “Messiah” and Beethoven’s “Hallelujah” from “Mount of Olives.” The Adult Chorale will also present some popular Christmas carols as well as some French and Old English ones.
