1 he Child Care and Learning Center (CCLC), located on U.S. 211-522 west of Washington, will be having its annual Christmas Bazaar from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 7.
The Bazaar features crafters, a white elephant/rummage sale, events for children, a bake sale and a raffle.
The Child Care and Learning Center, a private non-profit organization which features a combined day care and learning environment, is hosting the fundraiser to boost scholarship funds and provide a local alternative to the mad rush of holiday shopping at the malls. This year’s Bazaar will host the perrenially favorite Pictures with Santa and Children’s Shopping Room as well as some new additions.
The annual Christmas Bazaar raffle again features a dinner for two at The Inn at Little Washington. The second prize is a gorgeous Della Robbia holiday wreath contributed by Rare Finds Antiques, Gifts and Decorative Accessories. Tickets are $2 and are available at the school.
Lunch and refreshments will be for sale from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Local restaurants will contribute most of the meal. The menu will include a selection of soups, breads and fruit and there will be hot dogs for the children. An adult plate will be $2.50 and the hot dogs will sell for $1 each. Hot and cold beverages will be available.
Several local crafters will show and sell their work including handmade birdhouses, wreaths, gifts, floral and holiday items. The large main room will also host the Christmas shopping boutique. All items have been donated by local merchants and display a wide range of interests as well as tremendous quality and great prices!
