Financial program

. A Women’s Financial Information Program via satellite will be conducted in throe locations in PD-9 (Culpeper, Warrenton and Orange) beginning the first week in March and run for eight weeks.

Rappahannock residents can attend the Culpeper class on Tuesday nights, beginning March 3 and continuing through April 21, 7 p.m.-9:15 p.m. at the Culpeper Extension Office or the Wednesday morning class, beginning March 4 through April 22 in Warrenton.

This is the same class on family finances that was conducted locally last fall with local speakers. The programs/speakers this spring will broadcast via satellite from Virginia Tech. Each participant will receive the same AARP workbook and educational handouts to supplement the speakers’ presentations. Registration is $10. Call 6753619 by Feb. 28 for a registration form or if you need additional information.

Class of 1972 plans reunion

The Rappahannock High Class of 1972 is preparing for its 20-year reunion, and wants to hear from any classmates from the years 197074 who want to participate in the dinner-dance tentatively slated for May.

CPR classes at CCLC

A CPR class on infants and children will be offered at the Child Care and Learning Center Saturday, Feb. 22. The class will be sponsored by the Mothering Cooperative. Business Council to meet

The Sperryville Business Council will meet at 6 p.m. on Sunday, March 1 at Country Home Antiques. All members and interested business persons are urged to attend.

Bingo at Castleton
