Virginia Jenkins

Virginia Butler Jenkins, 86, of Rose Hill Nursing Home, Berryville, formerly of Woodville, died Saturday, Feb. 15 at the Winchester Hospital.

Mrs. Jenkins was born Oct. 2, 1905 in Rappahannock County, the daughter of the late William T. and Margaret Fincham Butler. Her husband was the late Ellis Jenkins.

She was a member of Woodville Baptist Church.

Survivors include a son, Gordon Jenkins of Frederick, Md.; three daughters, Catherine J. Johnson of Quantico, Va., Carolyn Fincham of Manassas and Mary Anna Hitt of Woodville; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; one greatgreat granddaughter and a number of nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a son, Ellis Maury Jenkins in 1974.

Funeral services were held Monday, Feb. 17 at Clore Funeral Home Chapel in Culpeper with William Harrison officiating. Interment was in Woodville Cemetery.

Pallbearers were grandsons.
