Noel Twyman: Racing fans may have the chance to cheer Twyman twice over this spring, as he is reported to be in training himself to join ranks in the owner-rider hurdle series. Hansel Rag, Twyman’s classy old English-bred hurdler, may enroll in that series and certainly bears watching if he does.

Twyman pointed out, though, that his most promising hurdler will not have his riding services. Overnight Hero, a 4year-old stakes winner of over $170,000 on the flat in Maryland, is in training and deserves a look when he steps on the racecourse.

Don Yovanovich: He said that he has a very nice hurdle prospect in Winthrop, a Chilean-bred runner. The gelding started three times last fall, finishing second in all three flat runs. Gary Baker's Glyn is back into training to challenge all comers to the open timber division. Jill Waterman,
