Myrtle Wines

Myrtle Campbell Wines, 75, of Front Royal, died Thursday, Feb. 13 at the Warren Memorial Hospital in Front Royal.

The funeral was conducted Monday, Feb. 17 at the Maddox Funeral Home in Front Royal by the Rev. William Swain. Burial was in Prospect Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Wines was bom March 23, 1916, in Page County, the daughter of the late DaVid Herman and Brucie Barbee Campbell. She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Front Royal and was the wife of the late Henry Lee Wines Sr.

Surviving are four sons, Henry Wines Jr., Ernest F. Wines, Herman R. Wines and Jerry Wines, all of Front Royal; two brothers, Thurman Campbell and Kenneth Campbell, both of Front Royal; four sisters, Ruby Wines of Chester Gap and Viola Chadwell, Mildred Darr and Geneva Campbell, all of Front Royal; 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Ricky Wines, Timmy Wines, Steve Wines, Michael Wines, Tommy Campbell and Bobby Campbell. Honorary pallbearers were Bobby Shipe, Gilbert Smith, Dr. Dixon Whitworth, Elwood Wines, William Pomeroy and Giles Darr.

Ethel Butler

Ethel Jenkins Butler, 79, of Stephens City, died Thursday, Feb. 13 at the Winchester Medical Center.

The funeral was conducted Wednesday, Feb. 19 at the Enders Funeral Home in Berryville by the Rev. Bill Hogan. Burial was in Green Hill Cemetery in Berryville.

Mrs. Butler was bom Nov. 12, 1912, in Rappahannock County, the daughter of the late McLean and Eliza Butler Jenkins. She was a housewife and the wife of the late Charles W. Butler.

Surviving are two sons, Richard Butler of Stephens City and James Butler of Gore; a daughter, Dorothy
