Gilbert Fincham
Gilbert L. Fincham, 77, of Berryville, died Sunday, Feb. 16 at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Richmond.
A graveside service was conducted Wednesday, Feb. 19 in Green Hill Cemetery in Berryville by the Rev. Hubert L. Plummer.
Mr. Fincham was born April 22, 1914, in Rappahannock County, the son of the late Harvey R. and Annie Racer Fincham. He was a’ retired automobile salesman and a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, where he served in the European Theatre of operations as a corporal assigned to Company A, 774th Tank Destroyer Battalion.
Surviving are nieces.
