Scholarship

The Rappahannock Garden Club is once again offering the Francis J. Leonard Memorial Scholarship to graduating Rappahannock High seniors for the purpose of continuing their education.
Two grants—one for $1,500, the other for $400—will go to students enrolling in a college or university, a community college, vocational or technical school or taking an acceptable training program to prepare for a career.
Applicants must be Rappahannock County residents, members of this year’s graduating class, accepted by an accredited school and must have a need for financial assistance. Applicants must also be recommended by three non-relative residents of Rappahannock County.
Applications are available at the Guidance Office in the high school. Completed applications must be returned to the Guidance Department by Wednesday, April 15.
