Jimmie Settle
Jimmie D. Settle, 48, “of Rixeyville, died Thursday, Feb. 13 at his residence.
Mr. Settle was bom April 27, 1943, to the late Virginia and Jessie R. Settle. He was a lifetime resident of Culpeper County.
He was a member of Black Oak Regular Baptist Church, where he was the Superintendent of the Sunday School. He was a self-employed landscaper.
He is survived by his wife, Janet M. Settle; three sons, Jimmie Settle Jr., Ricky Settle and Marty Settle, all of Rixeyville; a daughter, Debbie Settle of Rixeyville. He is also survived by one brother, George W. Settle of Culpeper; five sisters, Emma Pullen of Culpeper and Louise Fincham, Ida Mae Bailey, Viola Pullen and Helen Mills, all of Rixeyville; and one grandson, Justin Settle.
Funeral services were held Sunday, Feb. 16 at Found & Souns Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Wayne Richards officiating. Internent was in Fairview Cemetery. Pallbearers were Charles Shiflett, Richard Woodard, Charles Pullen, John Burke, Hovert Heflin, 3wen Cubbage, Carl Menefee and Harvey Tharp.
