I Fawn Evenson was appointed to the town Planning Commission, by a vote of 4 to 3. Those voting for Ms. Evenson were Mayor Willis, Charlie Tompkins, Steve Critzer and Tom Zumwalt. Reinhardt Lynch, Ray Gooch and Peter Skowronski voted for Frank Scott. This was the first meeting for new council member^ Charlie Tompkins and Peter Skowronski.
Peter Skowronski was elected to be the clerk of the Towh Council. He will be responsible for the minutes, and will be the attesting officer to signatures on town documents. Town Attorney Frank Reynolds said that the minutes are extremely valuable; they should accurately reflect what happens at meetings. He said they are not the same as a transcript.
Treasurer Tom Zumwalt said that there are several citizens of the town who have not paid their water bill for , many, many months. He asked what could be done to get them to pay, and wondered if their water could be turned off. Mr. Reynolds said that could be done, but those people would have to be given notice of the intention to turn off their water by a certain date if they
