Sylvia Catherine Clem, 89, of Fort Valley, died Thursday, Nov. 9 at Winchester Medical Center.
Graveside services were conducted Sunday in Massanutten Cemetery at Woodstock by the Rev. George Feldman.
Mrs, Clem was born Sept. 10, }905, at Toms Brook, daughter of the late Edna Esther Fisher Neeley.
She was a retired teacher from the Slate Hill School at Fort Valley^ and graduated from Woodstock High School and attended Madison College in Harrisonburg. She was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Toms Brook and the wife of the late John Daniel Clem.
Surviving are a son, Warren Daniel Clem of White Plains, Md.; a daughter, Rosalie Atkins of Flint Hill; four half-sisters; a half-brother; four grandchildren and six greatgrandchildren.
Pallbearers were Loy Didawick. Jim Didawick, Leon Clem, David 1 Atkins, Michael Clem and John Plauger.
