Paul A. Brown, a senior at Rappahannock County High School has been named one of 1,200 regional finalists in the Wendy’s High School Heisman Awards, a newly created rational awards program recognizing academic achievement, athletic accomplishments and community service.
The program is endorsed by the national Association of Secondary School Principals, which is assisting With the nomination and evaluation process. (
Paul is a member of the basketball and baseball teams, has solid academic achievements and also participates in the National Honor Society, TSA and Varsity Club. He is president of the senior class. As a regional finalist, he will receive an award of recognition and be eligible to be named one of 120 regional award winners.

Katie and Marcy Lynn, 1991 graduates of Wakefield Country Day School, were named to the Dean’s List for the 1993-94 academic year.
They are the daugthers of Pamela W. Lynn and the late Dr. William E. Lynn of Washington. They are seniors at the College of Notre Dame of Maryland majoring in studio art. Katie and Marcy were also named to the 1995 edition of Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges.
