This month the supervisors did not make a decision on that, however. The primary commercial hauler in the county is Community Trash, which also has the contract to service the dumpsters and operate the landfill. Mr. McCarthy said the supervisors could wait until closer to the June 1 date for opening the new cell before making a decision on that. Since the tipping fee adopted by the supervisors only repays the debt and does not cover costs for operating the landfil, they may even charge a1 higher fee to commercial haulers.
