Former Governor L. Douglas Wilder received four votes in the senate race, all in the Scrabble precinct. Virgil Goode received one write-in vote in Washington. In the election for the 10th District member of the House of Delegates, Dennis Bybee received two write in votes. Mr. Bybee was running as a write-in candidate for the senate seat, ndt the House of Representatives and does not live in the 10th District. Also Lee Bird received two write-in votes for the House of Representatives and Marion Sharp received one.
