The Sperryville Bridge Club was entertained on Friday night at the home of Mrs. Edna Metzinger.
Those playing in addition to Mrs. Metzinger were Mrs. Lucia Kilby, Mrs. Lucy Ann Maeyer, Mrs. Helen Brown, Mrs. Mary Q. Snead, Mrs.. Dot Estes, Mrs. Helen Platt and Mrs. Peggy Pryde.
Prizes were awarded to Mrs. Maeyer, Mrs. Brown, Mrs. Estes and Mrs. Pryde.
Dr. and Mrs. Larry Kushner of Gaithersburg, Md. were Wednesday overnight and Thursday guests of the latter’s mother Mrs. Catherine Brown.
Mrs. T. M. Johnston recently sp6nt a few days last week in Charlottesville with her grandchildren, Bethany and Broocks Meade while their mother, Carolyn was away on a business trip.
Mr. Elix McLean and Mr. Danny McLean of Greenville, Tenn. were Saturday guests of Mrs. Emma Swindler and Mrs. Annabelle Swindler.
Sunday guests of Mrs. Ethel Tyner were Mr. and Mrs. Alin Moyer and sons of Ruckersville and Mrs. Lillie Corbin.
Mr. and Mrs. Charles Overhulser of Palm Harbor, Fla. were Saturday overnight and Sunday guests of Mrs. Catherine Brown. On Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Overhulser and Mrs. Brown visited Mrs. Brown’s sister, Mrs. Estelle Leake and Charles Atkins in Luray.
