Evelyn Pollard
Mrs. Evelyn V. Pollard, 65, of Hampton died Saturday, Nov. 12 at the Sentra Hampton General Hospital in Hampton.
She is the wife of the late James W. Pollard of Jeffersonton and the daughter of the late George E. and Annie Tillman Ferguson.
Mi's. Pollard is survived by five daughters, Evelyn V. Brown of Jeffersonton, Julia R. Pollard, Sharon D. Pollard and Jennell Y. Pollard, all of Hampton and Wanda T. Hawthorne of Edwards Air Force Base, California; two sons, James “JJ” Pollard, Jr. of Chesapeake and Sgt. Van Kelly Pollard of Fort Sill, Oklahoma: two sisters, Julia M. Luckett of Jeffersonton and Rebecca Bryant of Washington, D.C.; one brother, George Ferguson , of Jeffersonton; ten grandchildren and other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 1(> at the Joynes Funeral Home, Inc. in Warrenton. /
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 17 at the Bethel Baptist Church in Amissville with Rev. Forrest Freeman, Pastor presiding and Rev. W. Billy Scott will deliver the eulogy.
Interment will be in Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery.
