driven by Denise Jackson, 30, of Washington in .front of Settles Grocery on U.S. 522 in Flint Hill on Jan. 21. According to the State Police file turned in by Trooper C.M. Hodges, Ms. Jackson was travelling north on U.S. 522 when the Volkswagen turned in front of her. No injuries were reported, but Ms. Jackson’s car sustained $1,500 damage, and the juvenile’s Volkswagen had $2,000 damage.

Two Indicted

The Grand Jury handed down three indictments in Circuit Court last week.

' Albert Wayne Gatewood, 38, of Washington, was indicted for two felonies, sexual abuse on a child less than 18 years of age, and having carnal knowledge of a child less than 14 years of age. Mr. Gatewood is free on bond.

Roy Wayne Sisk, 32; of Washington, was indicted for felony escape. He escaped while being led to jail on Nov. 16 after pleading guilty in a malicious wounding case and is presently incarcerated awaiting sentencing.
