Last Thursday night Rapp’s JV Volleyball team brought their record up to two wins and four losses. Varsity, however, was defeated by their opponents from Mt. Jackson. Both teams played again on Monday night at home against Central, but both lost.
In the JV game Thursday Janice Wilson served 6 points, two of which were aces and Meghan Fairbrother served up four more with one ace. Ashley McNeely put in another two points and Alice Gentry served an additional point. This brought the score to 13-10 in Rapp’s favor.
Ashley served another, at which point Stonewall called a time out. She however got another point for the team, and Rapp won 15-12.
In the second game the Generals secured a five point lead. Lauren Sharp however pulled her team ahead 6-5.
She was followed by Amanda Walters who served up two more points and Robyn Kay6 who made another. Sonewall Jackson still pulled ahead of the Panthers 11-9 though.
Meghan made another point but Sonewall won 15-10.
