The delayed celebration in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. brought gospel joy 9o The Theatre in V Washington Sunday.
The audience was treated to singing by the Rappahannock County Faith Singers, the Bethel Baptist Church Youth Group and the Promise Land Young Adult Chorus. "J ' The Rev. Forrest Freeman, pastor of the Bethel Baptist Church in : Amissville, was master of ceremonies. Abraham McLear read from First Corrinthians. Dorothy Butler gave a history of the holiday honoring Dr. King and urged the audience to “keep on moving.”
Lilian Aylor thanked Wendy Weinberg for making the theater available for the fifth year and presented her with a certificate oT appre• - ciation. A collection was taken for the Julia Boddie Scholarship Fund.
