Mr. Thomas admitted to pawning the items but said he had been given them by friends of his — Wayne Beard and John Banton. He said they had done the actual breaking and entering, and. taking of merchandise, in all the incidents he was involved in.
The other incidents were a case of breaking and entering at the home of James and Bonnie Lofton on Nov. 21, *95 and a breaking and entering at the Kelly W. Comfort residence on Nov. 24, ’95. At the Lofton home a fax machine was taken and at the Comfort home a Mosby 12 gauge shotgun.
