A confederate Infantry Unit will be found on the grounds of the Kemper Residence where, through out the weekend, reenactments and demonstrations will depict camp life during the Civil War.
The event would not be complete without the mouth watering food and drink prepared by the people of Madison, noted for their country fare. From one end of the street to the other you will find chicken, ham biscuits, steaks, bison, lamb burgers and everything in between including home baked goods.
There is no admission fee, with free parking at the high school on Route 29 with many shuttle buses for your convenience. Mark your calendar, Aug. 30, for this memorable event.
