Judge Carleton Penn told Mr. Kennedy he was mystified as to how he could be on bond and go out and commit other offenses. He told him his bond should have been revoked.
“I think it’s important you see the inside of a jail and realize what it’s about,” Judge Penn told Mr. Kennedy. “It’s time to grow up.”
Mr. Kennedy was also sentenced to two years probation on the condition he remain drug-free and was ordered to pay $125 to the pawnbroker for merchandise not recovered, and court costs.
