For example, said Nathan, for a drum track he took the recorded song and sped it up on the computer so it was playing faster and then he added a drum beat to it. When it is played back at normal speed, it gives a big, broad sound that would be impossible to play naturally.
The band is doing multitrack recording with the help of the producer who works on the computer monitor selecting parts of the track to change.
