They have sold 50,000 CDs and in May, Everything signed with Blackbird, a part of Elektra Records, a well recognized an financially strong company. The band has appeared with many wellknown groups including Hooty and The Blowfish, the Who, and Dave Matthews, to name a few. Their web site is an imaginative one at http://www.ecolon.com.
In 1989, all students at James Madison University in Harrisonburg, they began playing around the school and later at other schools like Radford and Virginia Tech.
In the spring of 1992^ they decided they wanted to make music full-time. When asked if he had a sense of their future success, Craig Honeycutt laughed and said that there is an initial enthusiasm that every band feels. “It’s part of being in a band,” he said.
However, Everything has continued on a progressively upward course. “We’ve stuck together and have a great chemistry,” said Craig.
They asked Randy Reed, 29, a friend and JMU student who majored at the school’s music-business program, to be the band’s business manager, and he quickly accepted. At the end of the summer in ‘92, they moved to Woodville, renting a house belonging to Eldon
