Choral Society
begins holiday
rehearsals
The Culpeper-Piedmont Choral Society will begin rehearsals for its upcoming Christmas Candlelight Concerts on Monday, Sept. 8. Rehearsals will be held in the parish hall of Precious Blood Catholic Church in Culpeper at 7:30 p.m.
Two concerts are planned for this year. The first concert will be performed on Saturday, Dec. 13 at 8 p.m. at The Lake of the Woods Church in Locust Grove. The second will be on Sunday, Dec. 14 at 3 p.m. at Precious Blood Catholic Church.
Music director, Art Palmer of Warrenton advises that there are openings in all four voice parts for those experienced in reading choral music. There are no formal auditions; however, newcomers are asked to arrive early in order to meet him. Past members are also encouraged to rejoin the group.
