back from the goal at this late stage. We firmly believe that the vast majority of Rappahannock County residents want to save our ridgetops and mountainsides from unregulated residential development.
While Commissioners must keep in mind the legitimate rights of landowners, they can still protect those rights and save the mountains by reasonable regulations.
RLEP supported the intent of the original proposals discussed at the May 21 meeting. We still do.
Some modification of those proposals may be needed to meet the objections of landowners — such as eliminating the proposed section
