The Rappahannock Historical Society is extending an invitation to persons interested in preserving Rappahannock’s heritage to attend the society’s annual fundraiser on Saturday, Sept. 6 at 6:30 p.m.
The garden party benefit and buffet dinner will be held at Ginger Hill, the home of the society’s president, Douglas Baumgardner, at 12795 Lee Highway, (U.S. 211) Washington, Va.
Musical entertainment will be provided by Dornel Pratt, who will be singing folk music throughout the evening.
