Work continues on new county regulations to address the issue of cellular towers in Rappahannock County.
The Rappahannock County Board of Supervisors and Planning Commission met on •July 7 to go over a draft of the new ordinance.
Some changes were made, and the draft has been sent d^ack to the planners for more •work. According to County Administrator John McCarthy, .Sfche Board of Supervisors Should complete the final draft ±1 time for a public hearing in ^September, with possible final •action in October. HU As might be expected, the Jfrdinance does not ban celluJpr towers in Rappahannock; ;such provisions are not Allowed under the federal ^Telecommunications Act of 3996.
