Paving of Rappahannock County Skate Park
The Rappahannock County Recreational Facilities Authority (RCRFA) is soliciting bids on services to provide an asphaltic concrete surface to the Rappahannock County Park off U.S. Rt. 522/211, Lee Highway, in Washington, Va.
A pre-bid meeting will be hold for any prospective bidders with questions or requests for additional information on Friday, July 23 at 9:00 AM at the Park facility. Attendance is not required in order to bid on the work herein described. No prequalificbtion is required for this contract. The surface required is an average depth of not less than three (3) inches, surrounded by concrete curbing (allowing drainage through grade of pad to drainage points in curbing) projecting at least two inches above the finished surface.
All bids should be submitted in a letter clearly identifying the company providing the service, be signed by the principal of the firm, and shall note any exclusions or limitations. The basis for the bid shall also be stated; for this agreement, a final and complete finished price shall be stated. All bids must be received at the County Administrator’s Office, Old Extension Office, 290 Gay Street, P.O. Box 519, Washington, VA 22747 by Monday, July 26, 1999, by 3:00 PM., at which time they will be opened and publicly read.
The terms of Competitive Sealed Bidding as set forth in the Virginia Public Procurement Act shall apply. The RCRFA reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
