one was a member of the Flint Hill United Methodist Church and was a retired bus driver form the Fairfax County Public School System.
Surviving are her husband of 55 years, Edward A. Marcey; a son, George Edward Marcey of Amissville; two daughters, Elizabeth Ann Sutphin of Bristow and Jeanette Marie Miller of Falls Church; two brothers, Robert Walker of Falls Church and William Walker of Churchton, Md.; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Maddox Funeral Home in front Royal.

Eddie Hitt

Eddie Robert Hitt, 71, of Amissville died Monday, July 12 at Fauquier Hospital in Warrenton.
He was born Dec. 26, 1927 in Rappahannock County, the son of Eddie Jacob Hitt and Susie Ann Hitt.
Mr. Hitt was retired from the Maintenance Department at the Warrenton Training Center.
He was an active and longtime member of the Amissville United Methodist Church where he served as an usher. He was a former member of the Amissville Ruritan Club and the Amissville Volunteer Fire Department. He enjoyed farming on his home place.
