The supervisors approved the appropriation for capital projects, but not the cafeteria funds. Massie thought that it wasn’t necessary to appropriate the cafeteria funds now, but they could be appropriated later if needed. As a result of these actions, $147,119.59 will be returned to the general fund.
Amissville Post
Office
The supervisors, by a unanimous vote, approved rezoning of one acre of property owned by Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Ring along Route 642 from residential to commercial for construction of a new Amissville Post Office. Approval is subject to VDOT approval of an entrance.
