This is the 50th Anniversary of the Culpeper, Madison, Rappahannock Farm Show located on Route 29 south of Culpeper, July 21 through 26. It will be a fun filled time for the whole family.
Former Farm Show participants, 20 years of age and over are invited to attend a special alumni celebration in honor of the 50th anniversary on Saturday, July 24 at 4 p.m. followed by a barbecue dinner, country dancers and pro bull riding.
Other activities of the farm show include: Dairy, Beef, Goat, Small Animal, Cat, Dog, Swine, Horse, Rabbit and Sheep shows and sales, tractor driving contest, an auction and Little Mr. and Miss CMR Farm Show.
Also, the home economics building will showcase arts and crafts, decorated cakes and baked goods, woodworking, garden vegetables, clothing, needlepoint, quilts, canned goods to mention a few.
