She was predeceased by one son, James R. Brady Sr.; one daughter, Mary Alice Atkins; one grandson, Mary Alice Atkins; one grandson, Jimmy Brady and one granddaughter, Faith Ridenour.
Maddox Funeral Home in Front Royal was in charge of the arrangements.

Castleton resident
Christopher Thomas Hitt, 35, of Castleton died Saturday, July 10.
He was born Sept. 22, 1963 in Culpeper County to Raymond Elwood and Aloha Deal Hitt of Castleton.
Mr. Hitt worked at Lockheed Martin in Manassas. He was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church and attended other churches as well.
In addition to his parents, survivors include a daughter, Amy Nicole Hitt of Bealeton; two brothers, Roger L. Hitt of Front Royal and Mark A. Hitt of Rixeyville; a nephew, Corey A. Hitt and two nieces, Kendra Hitt and Haley Dover, all of Rixeyville.
He is also survived by his girlfriend, Kathy Barham of New Market.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, July 14 at Found and Sons Chapel with Rev. David Austin, Rev. John Miller, Rev. Federal Layne and Rev. Bill Snead officiating.
Interment followed at Forest Grove Church Cemetery.
