Supervisor’s had deried Dr. Gangel’s request for return of $10,000 in budget surpluses to be used for cafeteria start-up, and so the subcommittee recommended the use of $2,000 in uniform funds and $5,000 slated for equipment for the purchase of start-up food stocks and supplies. The diverted funds will be returned after the cafeteria accrues sufficient funds from revenues.
• Dr. Gangel provided a Cafeteria End of Year report pursuant to the Board’s earlier request. This report provides a comparative income statement, free and reduced lunfch program participation figures, and unit sales prices for the past three school years.
