College scholarship recipients Melissa Yowell (Culpeper County) and Lauren Lucey (Greene County) were present to officially receive their awards. Each student received a $500 scholarship.
Kirk Bowers, Greene County Erosion and Sediment Control Program Administrator and Jesse Hurt, Greene County Building Official, attended the meeting to hear District concerns regarding erosion and sedimentation in Greene County.
Mr. Bowers reported that problem areas are being corrected and enforcement is underway.
