The supervisors worked with the county Planning, Commission in a late session; on the local telecommunications ordinance. Some changes were suggested by members of both groups.
Among them were having all applications come through the Board of Supervisors and - taking the Board of Zoning Appeals out of the process, and requiring applicants to submit their plans over a fouryear period instead of two: It was also suggested that illustrations of the different types of towers be available for presentation at the public hearings.
