• Wednesday, Sept. 8 at 2 p.m. the Board of Supervisors will hold its regular monthly meeting at the courthouse in Washington. New agenda items include: Contract award, office telephone system; resolution for dedicated fund for land conservation; US Marine Corps Training Exercise, Sept. 18 and appropriation for criminal prosecution. There will be no 7 p.m. session.
• Wednesday, Sept. 8 at 7:30 p.m. the Washington Town Council will meet at the town hall.
