is a prelude to revival which will begin with the evening service at 7:30 on Sunday, Sept. 19, through Tuesday, Sept. 21. Rev. .Robert Parks, Jr. will be the guest speaker for the revival services. He is the pastor of Courtlancf United Methodist Church located in the Portsmouth area of Virginia. There will be special music each evening. Everyone is invited to come out to hear the spoken word and to sing God’s praises. The United Methodist Church is located off of US 211.
It’s not too late to register for the Rappahannock Soccer League’s fall season. Boys and girls, ages 6-16, will join existing teams. Cost is $45, including a late registration fee. Forms are available at the Rappahannock Library or you may contact Sara Lawrey at 675-1781.
