Lillard on Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Franklin Hawkins of Fredericksburg wer£ Wednesday visitors.

We are happy to report that Bill Welch returned to his home last Saturday after being a surgical patient- at Health South Hospital at Richmond. We wish him a quick recovery.

Betty Klise has returned to her home after spending three weeks in Slovokia and Austria, as part of a mission team that went to Slovokia to teach conventional English. Also on the team from Rappahannock were Rev. Philip Bailey and Mrs. Loik Snead of Washington.

David and Renee Calisto and Nikki visited family in Virginia Beach arid Sandbridge recently.

David and Nikki Calistb and Victoria Hudson went crabbing in Ocean City recently with David’s father, Torijr Calisto.

Billy Welch returned to Lord Fairfax for classes on Aug. 23. This will be his last year and he is looking forward to transferring.

Mrs. Linnie Cummings has just returned to her home after spending two weeks in Suffolk visiting her son and daughter-in-law, E.O. and Dottie Cummings.

The Flint Hill Baptist Church has worship service on the second and fourth Sunday at 11 a.m. Robert O. Goff will deliver the message and the public is welcome.

The church also has services on the fifth Sunday.

Jack and Mary Curtis visited their son, Jim Curtis at Linden, Sunday.

The Hymn Sing held at the Flint Hill United Methodist Church on Sunday evening had twenty-four present.

Billy Welch joined Morgan Dailey at her church’s Homecoming in Markham on Sunday.

The Flint Hill United Methodist Church has worship service each Sunday, at 8:45 a.m. The pastor, the Rev. Merlin Shorb invites the public.
