Snead of Washington have been elected to the board of directors of the American Judicature Society. Both are being recognized “for their leadership in developing court improvement” and as directors, will work with the Society in its programs to achieve court modernization in Virginia and throughout the nation.

The Rappahannock County Elementary School will offer breakfast for students this year, beginning with the first of school on Sept. 5. During her whirlwind tour of Washington, State Senator Eddy Dalton stumps for Marie Davis’s vote at the Rappahannock County Extension Office. Then, trailed by two reporters, her campaign aide and tour guide Rod Sweet, Sen. Dalton took off through town, stopping cars on Gay Street to shake hands and visiting every open office, store and restaurant, including The Inn.
