Congratulations to W. C. and Lillie Johnson and also to Robert and Kitty Lou Day on becoming first time grandparents. On Friday their children, Charles and Stefanie Johnson, became the proud parents of a darling baby boy.
They named him Robert Tyler Johnson. Welcome Robert Tyler and congratulations Charles and Stefanie. Hope to see Robert Tyler strolling on Five Forks Road in the near future.
Tim and Debbie Norman enjoyed themselves this weekend sunning and swimming at Ocean City, Md.
The folks around here welcomed the recent rain. Woodville is now a lot greener and the rivers have a little more water.
Mrs. Audra Crawford’s guest this week were Lillian and Jim Sykes of Culpeper and Curtis and Katherine Crawford of Flint Hill.
Mr. and Mrs. Richard Burke visited with Mr. and Mrs. Kinsey Wharton this week. On Wednesday, Richard and Rena Burke and Misty Hitt had lunch at Chasten’s Restaurant in Winchester. Afterwards thy shopped at Cosco.

On Sunday Mrs. June Clark attended the Woodville Baptist Church. She walked up the handicap ramp into the church supported only by her walker. She was applauded by all present.
