George Edward Jenkins, 81, of Culpeper died on Sunday, Aug.- ' 29 at Meadowbrooke Adult Home in Madison.
He was bom Aug. 24, 1918 in Rappahannock County to the late Oscar Jenkins and Mary Fincham Jenkins.
He was an avid gardener and car enthusiast.
Survivors include a daughter, Joyce Redgrave and husband Douglas of Lake of the Woods; a step-daughter, Nancy Denny of Culpeper; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and one brother, Charles William Jenkins of Salem.
He was predeceased by his wife, Elsie Heflin Jenkins.
Graveside services were conducted Wednesday at Fairview Cemetery with the Rev. Marvin C. Cook officiating.
Pallbearers were Mike Redgrave, Douglas Redgrave, Chip Huffman, Levi Brown, Wood Heflin and Claude Berry.
Found and Sons Funeral Home of Culpeper was in charge of the arrangements.
